Hemp Pesto with Matcha Green Tea Powder:

Just a few minutes to prepare once you have the ingredients.  Hope you have fun giving this a try!


Serves 4:


1/4 cup raw hemp hearts

1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup hemp oil or traditional extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 cups of chopped basil
1 cup chopped spinach
2 tbsp Matcha Green Tea powder

hempseeds3 – 4 cloves garlic

lemon juice, salt, pepper to taste

(optional romano grated cheese)



Use food processor, add the greens, seeds, nuts, matcha green tea powder, garlic and seasonings.

Pulse atleast 5 minutes and during this time add hemp oil slowly.

Consistency will vary so add greens or oil as needed to get it how you like it.

Season more to taste if needed///maybe a touch more lemon which never hurts.

Enjoy over pasta or cauliflower rice!
